Terms & Conditions

The use of this site is governed by these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully. Your use or placement of any order indicates your acceptance of these terms and conditions. These terms and conditions represent the full and complete agreement between the PelletCan.com Store ("we") and our customer ("you").

Secure Shopping

You can shop at www.PelletCan.com online with confidence. We have partnered with Authorize.Net, a leading payment gateway since 1996, to offer safe and secure credit card and electronic check transactions for our customers.  The Authorize.Net Payment Gateway manages the complex routing of sensitive customer information through the credit card and electronic check processing networks. The company adheres to strict industry standards for payment processing, including:

  • 128-bit Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology for secure Internet Protocol (IP) transactions

  • Industry leading encryption hardware and software methods and security protocols to protect customer information.

  • Compliance with the Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standard.

Sales Tax and Duties

PelletCan.com offices are located in Portland, Oregon, where no sales tax applies.  We are not required to withhold any applicable sales tax for orders to be delivered to any location.  Each customer will be solely responsible for all sales taxes, or other taxes, on orders shipped to
all locations.

 

Shipping Policy

Shipping Within USA
Shipment is restricted to the United States, U.S. Territories, and military addresses only.

International Shipping
At this time, shipments to International locations will not be handled.  This is being pursued with UPS and may be available soon.

Shipment Times
All shipments will be shipped on working days, Monday through Friday, only.

Shipping Method
Our standard shipping method is UPS Ground Service. To upgrade or change your shipping method,
simply view your cart contents and select a different shipping option. Click on UPDATE SHIPPING to make the change and view the revised shipping charge and order total.

The following are all available shipping methods:

UPS Ground
Delivery via UPS regular ground service takes 5 to 7 working days in the Continental United States.

UPS 2nd Day Air
Your order will be delivered in 2 to 3 working days when shipped UPS 2nd Day Air (Blue Label).

UPS Next Day
Your order will be delivered the next working day when shipped UPS Next Day (Red Label).

Shipping Rate Calculation
The shipping rate for your shipment is calculated based on weight and shipping zone.  To determine the shipping rate for your order, please select the "Calculate Shipping" button within the shopping cart checkout process.

COD Orders
We do not accept CODs.

 

Return Policy

Receiving Your Order
When you receive your order, please follow these guidelines:

  • Carefully unpack and inspect all merchandise, taking care not to damage the original packaging.

  • Do not fill out the manufacturer's warranty card until you are satisfied. We will not accept returns of merchandise with completed warranty cards or damaged or missing collateral material.

  • Do not throw away any of the packaging materials, such as boxes, instructions, inserts, bags etc., until you are sure you want to keep the equipment.

  • Keep the packing slip for your records.

  • Read all instruction manuals before assembling your equipment.

Returning Merchandise
We recognize that you may need to return a product that you have purchased from PelletCan.com.  In order to expedite the return process, please follow the process below.

Return Period
PelletCan.com extends a 15-day, full money-back guarantee on all equipment. Between 15-30 days, a 15% restocking fee will be applied to your return.  Returns are not accepted after 30 days of the original shipping date.

Return Process and Guidelines

  • Product that is in its original, undamaged factory-sealed container may be returned to PelletCan.com within fifteen (15) days of the original shipping date for a refund or exchange.

  • Product that is in its original, undamaged factory-sealed container may be returned to PelletCan.com between fifteen (15) and thirty (30) days of the original shipping date with a 15% restocking fee deducted from the refund amount or applied to the exchange purchase.

  • All products must be returned in as-new, re-salable condition in their original packaging. Any manuals, hardware etc. that are missing will result in rejection of the return or an additional fee.

  • Shipping charges are not refundable.

  • Please contact our Customer Service at 503-774-3345(or CustomerService@PelletCan.com ) to request a return merchandise authorization (RMA) number.

  • Clearly mark your RMA number on the outside of the package you are returning to PelletCan.com. Packages without an RMA number clearly marked on the outside of the package will not be accepted.

  • The RMA is valid for 30 days from issuance. Product returned after 30 days of return authorization will be refused and returned to sender.

  • Please include a copy of your original invoice and a brief note explaining the reason for the return with the package you are returning.

  • All returns must be sent freight prepaid. Returns sent C.O.D. or "shipping charges collect" will be refused. Credit will be given only for items that we receive and inspect.

  • Be sure that you insure your return shipment to avoid any complications.


Warranties
Items sold by PelletCan.com are covered by the specified PelletCan manufacturer's warranty. If the warranty period has expired, calls for service or repairs should be referred directly to PelletCan.
